Verification, photocopy and re-evaluation — what they are
CBSE offers three interlinked post-result facilities. They are sequential — you must go through the earlier stage to become eligible for the next.
- Verification of marks — a check of totalling and that no part was left unmarked.
- Photocopy (scanned copy) of the evaluated answer book — so you can see how it was marked.
- Re-evaluation — a fresh check of specific answers you flag.
How to apply for CBSE re-evaluation
The windows are short and fees are set fresh each year in the official notice, so do not rely on older amounts.
- 1
Wait for the official schedule, released after the Class 12 and then Class 10 results.
- 2
Apply online on the official portal within the short window.
- 3
Select the subjects you want checked.
- 4
Pay the per-subject fee shown in that year's notice.
- 5
Track the outcome online — any revised marks are final.
